We are pleased to inform you that Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Government of India is organising the first ever North East Global Investor Summit in Delhi in August 2023. North East region holds great potential for investment and trade in several sectors which are yet to be fully explored. In recent years, the Government of India along with the State Governments has undertaken major initiatives to enable the region to achieve its full economic potential. Taking advantage of the above, many national and multinational companies have not just expressed interest but have already made significant investments in the region.

 

 

The focus sectors of the Summit include Agri Food Processing & allied sectors; Textiles, Handloom and Handicraft, Tourism and Hospitality, Education and Skill Development, Healthcare, IT/ITeS and Entertainment. A brochure for the Summit is attached herewith.

 

For more details and to register, Summit's website - www.northeastgis.in - can be accessed. The final date of the Summit will be announced on the website in coming weeks.
