We would like to inform you that the Embassy of India, Tokyo is organising an event titled “India’s G20 Presidency: Important Developments and Initiatives” on 30th January 2023. The tentative agenda for the event is attached herewith for kind reference.

 

About the Event:

              India assumed the G20 Presidency on 01st December 2022. The G-20 Presidency offers a unique opportunity for India to contribute to the global agenda on pressing issues of international importance. The priorities for India’s G20 Presidency include Green Development, Climate Finance & LiFE; Accelerated, Inclusive & Resilient Growth; Accelerated Progress on SDGs; Technological Transformation & Digital Public Infrastructure; Multilateral Institutions for the 21st Century & 3 Fs – Food, Fuel, Fertilisers; and Women-led Development.

 

              The Embassy of India in Japan is organizing a series of events to disseminate information on key aspects and initiatives launched under India’s Presidency. It will be the second event in this series. The event’s objective is to showcase developments from recent meetings and some of the key initiatives launched so far under India’s G20 Presidency.
