We would like to inform you that Embassy of India, Tokyo is organizing an event on "Goa Day Celebration : Seminar on Investment Opportunities and Tourism in Goa" on 22 December 2022 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM (JST) at Auditorium, Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC), Embassy of India, 2-2-11, Kudan-Minami, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 102-0074.

 

2. Goa is a coastal state located in Western India. Goa is accessible through sea-route and has a presence of one of the major ports in India at Mormugao. The state is also well-connected through rail and road routes. The National Highway-17 connects Goa with Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra and other major cities in the state of Karnataka. The state is richly endowed with minerals such as iron ore, manganese, ferro-manganese, bauxite and silica sand. It has about 22 industrial estates established by Goa Industrial Development Corporation. Goa is also traditionally known as a tourist paradise in India and the world. The event’s objective is to share information on investment opportunities and tourism destinations in Goa among stakeholders in Japan. The agenda of the event is attached herewith.
