In addition to its economic activities, JCCI makes various policy proposals
to the government, representing the opinions of its members on important
government policies. These proposals include international economics, the
standard of living in Japan, the economy, small and medium-sized enterprises
(SMEs), regional welfare, distribution, taxes, labor, and the environment.
